Being a passenger with a UHF antenna in your view makes, can spoil a trip.  Why not move the antenna away from in front of the vehicle on the bull bar and place it on the bonnet bracket.  This way you will have clearer view and a happy passenger.  Easy to DIY or when you are having your UHF/CB installed here in the workshop.
